Pacquiao has expressed that the DA should protect the interest of Filipino farmers and fisherfolk. But the government is not doing anything to improve the country’s fishing industry. He has voiced out that we should be exporters rather than importers, especially for agricultural products.
"I said that when the time comes, we will make sure that our farmers will not be taken advantage of and we will not allow the haggling of their palay. The government will purchase their palay at a reasonable price." Pacquiao said in relation to efforts to support farmers.
Pacquiao has expressed wanting to continue the Build Build Build with added focus on Mindanao.
Pacquiao stated that he was among the senators who supported the addition of bike lanes, as well as the bill that would provide better infrastructure for pedestrians called the Safe Pathways bill.
After a meeting with senior executives of Space X, Pacquiao expressed that telecommunications service providers in the Philippines should step up in improving the quality of their products.
Pacquiao maintains that mining operations should be done responsibly and with limitations.

Pacquiao has stated that he is against the proposal to allow divorce in the country. He expressed that marriage is “sacred” that requires ultimate devotion and understanding for married couples.
Pacquiao has stated that he remains against same-sex marriage due to his religious beiefs. However, he explains that he does not condemn homosexuals as he does not have a right to judge.
"I am against abortion. It’s not the child’s fault that the mother was impregnated and then later he was born. It’s better to have the victims go through counseling, that it’s not the end of everything. That there is hope to change things." Pacquiao said.
In a statement, Pacquiao vowed to raise the minimum wage. He expressed that the pay should be within the National Economic and Development Authority’s P42,000 a month threshold per family.
Pacquiao points out the need to protect the welfare of overseas foreign workers. He reminds of the importance of the Department of Migrant Workers and expresses that he aims to build friendly ties with all nations. However, he says that he will not let other countries "bully" the Philipines.
According to Pacquiao, disagreements could be resolved through dialogue and not violence. In relation to the Ukraine-Russia war, he said war should be the last option, and if worse comes to worst, as a member of the United Nations, the Philippines would have to support its ally amid war.
Pacquiao wants to maintain diplomatic relations but affirms that the Philippines must uphold its victory and rights as per the Hague ruling.
Pacquiao previously defended Duterte's war on drugs. In the fight against illegal drugs, Pacquiao shares his approach and said "When I said the right way, we will not kill them in the streets. We will allow them to defend themselves in court."
Pacquiao has called out the failed COVID pandemic response and has specifically slammed DOH Secretary Duque, "There are young minds out there, with fresh perspective, and willing to serve the government without any trace of corruption." He added, "We did not anticipate the spread of COVID, it is really a hard time. But for me, Duque failed the people"
Pacquiao had previously said he was against it. However, as of March 2022 he has rectified his statement and said that it should be fine as it is a democratic choice. Has since drawn criticism for this.
